Time Passages. Watched
X2 this weekend. I won't give away the plot, but have to say that I was impressed at the way the filmmakers managed to stay completely true to the spirit of the comics while introducing new characters and situations. Why can't all adaptations be so true? (And the special effects were killer.) It made me wish I hadn't sold all my Xmen comics back in the mid-80s -- way before they hit the bigtime and were actually worth some money.
Weekend paradox: Attended a wedding that I'm not supposed to talk about because the groom believes people in the office would be offended that they weren't all invited. So I have to lie to coworkers about the wedding -- saying things like, "I don't know what they were planning for the honeymoon," or "I didn't get an invitation either."
I don't like to lie. But I guess I do it anyway.
